How much does it cost to hire a function band?

The cost of booking a live band can vary depending on several factors, such as the number of musicians in the band and their level of experience. Prices can vary, but as an overview, we’ve provided a guide for the most common lineups.

Price Guide:

• 3-piece: £750-1000
• 4-piece: £1150-1300
• 5-piece: £1500-1850
• 6-piece: £2000+

These prices are simply a guideline and are only a rough estimation. Other factors that can also affect pricing include:

How long do function bands play for?

Most bands for hire perform two hours of music split into either 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute sets, depending on the night’s schedule.

The band’s performance can be adapted to suit your requirements. For instance, if opting for 2 x 60 minute sets, the band could play from 8.30-9.30pm and then again from 10pm to 11pm. Alternatively, for 3 x 40 minute sets, they might start at 8.30pm, coordinating their performances around the timing of evening meals and any planned intermissions.

What equipment do your party bands provide?

Our party bands provide a complete package, providing everything they’ll need on the night. This includes PA system (Speakers/Amps), backline, lighting, instruments, and even playlists throughout the evening to keep your guests on the dance floor.
