How long will a soul, funk or Motown band play for?

For evening bookings, a band usually plays 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute sets to finish by midnight. However, there is some flexibility in this, such as adding a later 1am finish for a small additional cost. Some bands also offer a DJ service, enabling them to take requests and play to the crowd on the night.

How much does it cost to book a soul band?

Soul function bands are often more expensive than traditional guitar-led bands as they have more musicians to help create the classic sound of the songs you love. Prices start from £1200, but many bands offer different options depending on how big you want the band! Most bands tend to offer additional package options on top of their standard performance rates. Every live wedding band has different requirements, but as standard, we request the following:

• Soft drinks, tea and coffee
• Parking or reimbursed costs
• A secure room for changing and leaving belongings

• Enough space to perform
